Antique Catholic Medal Necklace

This is a superb antique Catholic medal, dated 1883. This lovely medal is made of bronze. It has got a fine embossed work, depicting Our Lady of Lyon with Jesus Christ. At back there is written: “Last prayers to appease the annoyance of my son” . Hanging from 24 inches gold filled chain including medal.
