Frequently Asked Questions

❖ Q: What techniques do you use to create your jewelry?

A: Each piece is made with love and skill, using a combination of traditional and modern techniques to ensure high-quality craftsmanship. Here are some of the methods I use to create your bespoke jewelry:

Precious Metal Clay (PMC)

PMC is a revolutionary material that allows me to mold fine silver and bronze into intricate designs that are both lightweight and durable. I mainly work with Hadar’s Metal Clay, known for its exceptional quality and versatility. Depending on the design, creating a PMC piece can take anywhere from 3-5 days to complete, as it involves careful molding, firing in a kiln, and polishing to perfection. Once fired, the clay transforms into pure silver or bronze, capturing every intricate detail of the design, ensuring that each piece is one-of-a-kind.

Metal Smithing

I use traditional metal smithing techniques to shape, solder, and refine metal into beautiful, long-lasting jewelry. This includes handcrafting each piece from scratch, allowing for endless creativity in design.

Wire Wrapping

Wire wrapping is a delicate technique where I use high-quality wire to securely wrap stones, crystals, and beads into unique settings. This technique adds an organic, free-flowing aesthetic to each piece.

Hand Knotting Stones and Pearls

For added elegance, I hand-knot pearls and stones, allowing them to rest beautifully while adding durability and flexibility to necklaces and bracelets. This technique ensures each piece has a soft, luxurious drape.

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is the precision method I use to add intricate details to your jewelry. Whether it’s custom fingerprints, hand-writing, portraits, or personal messages, I can engrave your unique touch onto any piece for a truly personalized keepsake.

❖ Q: What materials do you use?

A: I only work with high-quality, ethically sourced materials. This includes:

  • Sterling Silver: Known for its timeless beauty and durability.
  • 14k Gold Fill & 18k Gold: A luxurious alternative to solid gold, offering both beauty and value. For my Black Label line, I exclusively use 14k and 18k gold for an elevated, sophisticated look.
  • Precious and Semi-Precious Stones: Including gems like amethyst, turquoise, citrine, and many more, carefully chosen for their unique color, energy, and beauty.
  • Sealed Bronze Metal Clay: I use sealed bronze metal clay for pieces that require a unique, warm tone and strength.
  • Reclaimed Metals: Whenever possible, I use reclaimed metals to promote sustainability.

I always detail the materials in each product description so you know exactly what you’re getting.

❖ Q: Do you make all the jewelry yourself?

A: Yes! Every piece is designed and crafted by me, from the initial concept to the final polish. I pour my heart into every detail to ensure that each item is a unique work of art, meant to be worn and loved for years.

❖ Q: Can I request a custom design or engraving?

A: Absolutely! Custom design is at the core of my business. Whether you have a specific idea in mind or need inspiration, I’m here to help bring your vision to life. I also offer laser engraving—a beautiful way to personalize your jewelry with initials, meaningful dates, or small designs. I can even engrave custom fingerprints, hand-writing, portraits, and much more. Visit the Custom Orders page for more info or reach out if you’re curious about a specific engraving request!

❖ Q: What is laser engraving and can I add it to my order?

A: Laser engraving is a delicate, precise way of etching text, symbols, or images onto your jewelry. It’s perfect for adding a personal touch to any piece, like names, dates, or short messages. I can engrave a wide variety of designs—custom fingerprints, hand-writing, portraits, and more. If you’re interested in a specific engraving, feel free to contact me to discuss your idea!

❖ Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: For ready-made pieces, you can expect to receive your order within 3–5 business days. Custom designs or engraved pieces can take up to 2–3 weeks depending on complexity and my current workload. If you need something sooner, just reach out—I’ll do my best to accommodate.

❖ Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?

❖ Q: How should I care for my jewelry?

A: To keep your jewelry looking its best: avoid wearing it in water, while exercising, or around harsh chemicals. Store it in a soft pouch or cloth to avoid scratches. I’ll include care instructions with each order to help you maintain your piece for years to come.
